Going right back to September 2020 when the membership year commenced with EN, a lot of people had trouble navigating the Engage website to complete their membership for the year. These problems were happening all over England and therefore EN were inundated with telephone calls from members needing help but with the volume of calls, a lot of members questions went unanswered.
The main problem was that members were logging into the Engage site, inputting their details and getting to the stage of making payment and then having trouble getting any further. Trying to resolve the problem, they would start the process again and quite often get to the same stage in the process and get no further. This is where problems began, even though you might have started the process again, unfortunately the original order was in your basket and payment was showing as outstanding - if you imagine doing online shopping, when you place an order for something it will sit in your basket awaiting payment, if you just ordered the same item again it would show you having 2 items waiting for payment.
This is exactly what has happened to the memberships. EN are saying that South Bucks owes a considerable amount of money for memberships unpaid.
I have asked previously but am asking once again if all club secretaries can speak with all their players (parents of juniors) and ask them to log onto Engage , go to their personal details , go to ‘Orders’ (an option on the left hand side) and check to see if there are any outstanding orders. If there are, you need to click onto outstanding order and cancel/delete. If you have any problems you can email Membership at EN and they can pull up your details and take you through the process.
